Rise and Resit conducted a Nonviolent Civil Disobedience— a road blockade disrupting Donald Trump’s motorcade en route to the United Nations 81st General Assembly.

A few years ago on a Monday, I stumbled around The LGBTQ+ Center, asking if there was an ACT UP Meeting here. Or am I just looking for something from a long time ago.

A few months later, I found my ACT UP comrades conducting a Town Hall Meeting at The Center.

And I found that many of the old school ACT UP folks make up Rise and Resist.

If you take a Nonviolent Civil Disobedience Training with Rise and Resist, you will be given a 20 page training manual. Page 12 is a xeroxed sheet of paper from 1988.
