Alone in the gallery - The Fuller Building. 57th and Madison. Billionaires Row.
The Monday concluding Pride weekend. Full Moon tonight.
Holding down the Front Desk
A Keith Haring 1988 work— installed on the wall, in my eye line.
I installed this Haring.
On screws meant for another work—
Not applying the rule of 60 inches— the middle of the work must be 60 inches from the floor.

I bring out granola bars and waters in a bougie cafe paper bag to a homeless man sitting on the southwest corner of 57th and Madison. He’s filthy. Shirtless. His lips look bruised. Battered. Dried blood.
Hey man— this is for you.
He looks startled as I interrupt his conversation with himself.
He dives into the bougie bag.
Can’t seem to find words for me, or he’s not interested, or he’s starving.
Scrambles after the granola bars, rips one open, hunched over himself.
I give him the peace sign.
Some beer bellied, polo wearing, middled aged man looks disgusted. Unsure of our exchange. This homeless man with the bougie cafe bag.
My second time in two years I find myself involved in this type of interaction in Billionaires Row.
